Usability Concerns

GCPS uses the menu metaphor again for navigation. This makes the entire suite of links contained within inaccessible to users who are not using Javascript. Also, the slide-over function required for second-tier links are difficult to enact. The target area for clicking is the word, it should be the entire menu "button." Target areas for the image map are better for school links, but some titles are difficult to read with white text. ImageMap does not use ALT attributes.

Accessibility Concerns

Drop-down menus are in accessible to screen-readers and text-only browsers, thus cutting off the rest of the site to these users. Google search area is novel, but may lead visitors away from your site. ImageMap for school links is useless to text-editors, and formatting of page with [INLINE] graphics and text is difficult to view.
