The use of proprietary code bloats the page size and makes the site difficult to navigate for non-traditional browsers.
Usability Concerns
The basic design of the page works: the buttons look like buttons, and important information like school numbers is included on the front page. The picture might be enhanced by news pull-quotes and other pictures, served randomly, thus saving the web developer to continously update the page with fresh pictures and possibly, news.
Accessibility Concerns
The proprietary code blocks the links for text users. An ALT attribute should be used for the central picture.
